It started with a chance encounter at a mutual friend's birthday in Cape Town — she arrived late, he'd almost left early. Sometimes the universe has plans of its own.

Three years of adventures later, from hiking trails in the Drakensberg to lazy Sunday mornings at the Oranjezicht market, James got down on one knee at their favourite spot in Constantia as the sun dipped below the mountains.
